Responsibilities
Read and interpret engineering specifications, blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals to plan installation and work procedures
Install, align, and level equipment and systems
Assemble and disassemble machines repair, relocation, or replacement
Determine which machines, techniques, and tools to use when moving equipment and completing jobs
Transfer equipment to the applicable site for maintenance to avoid contamination or safety hazards
Work with a range of hand tools including measuring tools, welding and brazing equipment
Build the foundation for machines
Grind and file machinery parts
Supervise construction workers when using the equipment
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience as a Millwright in industrial or mechanical construction
Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, piping schematics, and equipment manuals
Skilled in equipment installation, precision alignment, and maintenance practices
Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform strenuous tasks in industrial environments
Preferred
Experience working alongside plumbing and process piping teams
Completion of an accredited millwright certificate program
OSHA 10 (minimum); OSHA 30 or NCCER Millwright certification
