The Social Emotional Learning Coach will be part of a collaborative educational team that delivers high-quality workshops and professional development related to social emotional learning for K-12 teachers and parents.

Responsibilities
Effectively edit and deliver already-developed innovative workshop content
Develop new content as needed based on current educational trends, research and policy
Work with managers to deliver workshops to teachers or parents as assigned
Present in front of small and large groups, encouraging participation and directing activities for the group
Engage an audience effectively and enthusiastically as well as be an active listener and critical thinker
Qualification
Required
Presentation experience required
Computer proficiency required
Ability to provide a high level of customer service to principals, classroom teachers & parents
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Professional appearance and attitude at all times
Must be able to lift 30 pounds
Work location is typically in school buildings, where consultant will sometimes need to be able to go up and down stairs
Frequent standing and ability to raise arms above the head
Hand dexterity for typing and entering data into a computer
Preferred
School Psychologist or Social Work certification preferred
Master's Degree preferred
Specialization in SEL topics such as trauma informed classrooms, teacher language, responsive classroom
Experience working with Title I students a plus
