Atlantic Group is seeking a Tax Manager (SALT) in Greenwich, CT to oversee multistate tax compliance and advisory services. This role includes managing complex SALT issues, supervising staff, and partnering with Tax leadership to ensure exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

Client Management: Build and maintain client relationships while advising on state and local tax matters
SALT Compliance & Advisory: Oversee sales and use tax filings, manage audits, and address technical SALT issues
Tax Research & Planning: Conduct research and draft memoranda to support multi-jurisdictional tax strategies
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor staff, ensuring quality work and ongoing development
Engagement Oversight: Manage multiple SALT projects, meeting deadlines, budgets, and client expectations

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
CPA, EA, JD, or other tax-related certification is required
Minimum of 7 years in public accounting with progressive tax responsibilities
At least 6 years of dedicated SALT experience
Proficient in tax software such as CCH Axcess, GoSystem, or similar platforms
Strong Excel skills
Experience using tax research tools
Strong analytical and communication skills
Proven ability to lead teams
Ability to manage complex engagements
Ability to deliver results in fast-paced client environments
