Quality Assurance Engineer
Prent Corporation is a family-owned leader in producing custom quality plastic for various industries. The Quality Assurance Engineer will develop and improve testing plans and inspection methods, serving as a liaison on quality matters while ensuring product standards are met.

Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and continuously improve material testing plans, inspection methods, and new product launch initiatives
Serve as the primary liaison between customers and the Company on quality-related matters
Analyze product and process capabilities, translate customer requirements, and ensure manufactured products meet both customer and Company standards and specifications
Identify root causes of defects and nonconformances, develop and implement effective corrective actions, and communicate these actions with suppliers and customers
Provide training to relevant personnel on inspection techniques and statistical process control (SPC)
Qualification
Required
4 year related degree or equivalent QA experience in manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of SPC techniques and Statistical Concepts
Understanding and ability to apply Quality statistical analysis (preferably experience with Minitab)
Experience in a technical position for Quality Assurance
Understanding and ability to conduct RCA and develop RCA
Word processing/computer and date analysis skills
Good mechanical and math skills
Excellent problem solving skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills and complex problem solving ability
Detail oriented
Preferred
Experience in ISO 9000 organization a plus
