New Grad, Entry LevelExzeo is seeking a SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and maintain their organization's databases. The DBA will ensure the performance, availability, and security of SQL Server databases while collaborating with development and infrastructure teams.

Responsibilities
Assist with developing and maintaining SQL scripts and queries to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from diverse sources into SQL Server databases
Maintain SQL Server database to a production standard of 99.9%
Administer SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for creating and managing reports
Support integration of SSRS reports with other applications and systems
Manage and maintain SQL Server databases across multiple environments (development, testing, production)
Ensure high availability and optimal performance through proactive tuning and monitoring
Implement database backup and recovery strategies to meet business continuity and disaster recovery objectives
Monitor database system performance and implement changes to improve efficiency
Develop and maintain scripts for automation of routine DBA tasks
Support database source control and automated deployment pipeline releases; familiarity with Redgate tooling is a plus
Implement monitoring and alerting for proactive issue detection
Qualification
Required
Managing and maintaining SQL Server databases
Ensuring the performance, availability, and security of SQL Server databases
Collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to design and implement efficient database solutions
Developing and maintaining SQL scripts and queries to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from diverse sources into SQL Server databases
Maintaining SQL Server database to a production standard of 99.9%
Administering SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for creating and managing reports
Supporting integration of SSRS reports with other applications and systems
Managing and maintaining SQL Server databases across multiple environments (development, testing, production)

Basic Windows Server OS Experience
Ability to support technical database and reporting infrastructure on a 24/7 basis
Experience working with relational databases and SSIS packages
Clear, concise oral and written communication skills
Self‑directed and effective at working independently
Adept at multitasking and managing multiple projects simultaneously under strict deadlines
Jira and Confluence (or equivalent software) experience
Preferred
Familiarity with Redgate tooling
Experience with Zappysys ETL process and MongoDB
Working knowledge of Power BI, PowerShell, PostgreSQL
Working knowledge of Microsoft dotNet Studio
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
