They are seeking a Data Analytics Intern to support data engineering, develop scalable data workflows, and assist in Data Science projects while learning from experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

Provide Data Engineering support across various platforms, including Databricks, Advana, and Palantir Foundry, encompassing data ingestion, transformation, and pipeline optimization

Develop and maintain scalable data workflows to enable advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives aligned with organizational goals

Support Data Science projects by applying statistical modeling, machine learning, and AI techniques to solve complex problems and extract actionable insights

Learn and leverage tools within the Advana/Jupyter Data and AI ecosystem, contributing to innovation aligned with the NAWCAD Wolf Tech Roadmap

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data engineering and data science solutions into mission-critical applications

Document processes and best practices for reproducibility and knowledge sharing across teams

Required

Currently a junior or senior pursuing either a Bachelor's, master's, or higher-level degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or a similarly related field

At least one year of experience working on the platforms listed

Experience working with statistical modeling, machine learning, and AI techniques is required

Strong customer relations, analytics, and documentation skills

Self-starter, highly motivated, strong work ethic with a commitment to quality

Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Ability to work within a challenging, fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Ability to work independently

Ability to multitask and meet competing, deliverable deadlines

Detail oriented

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear status and/or communicate issues

Ability to adapt to evolving technology

This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

In order to complete the requirements for government security clearance investigation, you must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to complete the full background investigation

This position will require the candidate to be able to receive a Secret Security Clearance
