Responsibilities

Lead and manage technology projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards

Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, goals, schedules, resource allocation, and risk management strategies

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into clear, actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlog items

Communicate project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders across the organization, including executives, developers, QA teams, and product owners

Apply agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and facilitating daily stand-ups and retrospectives

Coordinate with third-party integrators and vendors to ensure smooth integration of external systems, services, and APIs

Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks by anticipating potential obstacles and creating contingency plans

Monitor and report on project performance, using KPIs and other metrics to track progress, identify issues, and drive continuous improvement

Required

5-8 years of project management experience, with a proven track record of delivering technology projects, preferably in Shopify or eCommerce environments

Strong understanding of agile methodologies, including Scrum and sprint planning

Experience in translating business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria

Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Trello

PMP, ScrumMaster, or similar project management certifications are highly desirable

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field

Proven ability to manage third-party integrations and coordinate with external vendors

In-depth knowledge of eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement
