Responsibilities
Operate and maintain firewall security management platforms, including:
Cisco ISE authentication servers
Firewall policy compliance tools (Algosec)
Firewall management systems
Administer and support the global Cisco ISE platform, delivering AAA services and enforcing 802.1X access control across wired and wireless networks
Support the network privileged identity framework to ensure secure, controlled access to enterprise network devices
Partner with network, security, and endpoint teams to ensure seamless policy integration and enforcement
Identify and implement automation solutions to reduce manual and repetitive tasks using Ansible, Python, Terraform, and REST APIs
Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for automation deployment
Monitor system performance, logs, and health; respond to alerts and security incidents
Manage platform change requests and participate in change management processes
Provide escalation support and participate in on-call rotations
Assess security advisories and vulnerabilities, and implement remediation as required
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for AAA services and 802.1X network access control
Expertise with firewall and security management platforms including Algosec, Cisco Firepower, and Fortinet
Deep understanding of authentication protocols such as TACACS+ and RADIUS
Experience developing and maintaining automation using Ansible, Python, Terraform, and REST APIs
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to streamline network security operations
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network access and authentication issues
Strong analytical skills, system monitoring experience, and escalation support capability
Effective communication and collaboration within a global enterprise environment
