KION Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tech Center Engineering Technician to join their team. The Engineering Technician will be responsible for performing a range of tasks related to engineered prototype builds and material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform engineering prototype builds and designs from concept to completion

Work from engineering prints, sketches, and concept ideas

Operate equipment including CNC mill, manual mill, manual lathe, laser, brake press, horizontal and vertical band saws, and MIG/TIG welders

Assemble conveyor loops based on engineered designs

Utilize Microsoft apps, SAP (S4/HANA), KION Intranet, Teamcenter, and ASC products page

Solve complex and technically demanding problems, escalating only unusual issues

Provide guidance and training to lower-level employees as needed

Communicate effectively with internal teams and external contacts
