Sr. Supervisor, Operations - 3rd Shift (Onsite)
RTX is transforming the future of flight by designing and servicing innovative engines. They are seeking a Sr. Supervisor of Operations for the 3rd Shift to supervise production employees, manage cell productivity, and guide scheduling and production innovation to optimize operations.

Responsibilities
Ensures all quality related items for multiple cells or a complex cell are complete and documented to meet established quality standards
Guides cost reduction and process improvement in multiple cells or a complex cell to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness
Plans and executes scheduling for multiple cells or a complex cell to meet production schedules
Guides the sequencing of work, such as build and delivery, for multiple cells or a complex cell to optimize productivity
Supervises activities for materials and logistics problem resolution for multiple cells or a complex cell to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations
Manages cell performance and productivity for multiple cells or a complex cell to maximize productivity
Guides production innovation, including additive manufacturing, for multiple cells or a complex cell to enhance production capabilities
Interfaces with customers to understand customer needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of service
Qualification
Required
Advanced degree and 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality or Aerospace Industry; OR Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant industry experience
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Preferred
Degree in STEM field; Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering fields preferred
Working knowledge of shop practices, policies, and procedures governing manufacturing engineering support requirements as well as work instruction documentation for manufacturing processes
Personnel management experience in a technical industry; engineering team leadership preferred
Knowledge of Aerospace manufacturing and understanding of technical data requirements
Experience with the oversight of data integrity, reporting requirements, and key accountability metrics
Project management experience and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
Experience with problem-solving tools such as root cause and corrective actions (RCCA)
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement tools (CORE/ACE/SixSigma)
