Responsibilities

Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company's business objectives and enhance overall organizational performance
Lead the HR team in the design and implementation of policies and procedures that promote a positive work environment and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws
Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, advising on HR-related matters such as workforce planning, talent acquisition, succession planning, and organizational development
Foster a positive and inclusive work culture by proactively managing employee relations issues and facilitating resolution through effective communication and conflict management techniques
Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
Ensure all HR practices are in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., EEO, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, FLSA)
Oversee audits and manage any compliance-related reporting or documentation
Stay current on relevant HR trends, laws, and best practices, and implement necessary changes to policies and procedures
Lead the development, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures
Ensure policies are effectively communicated to all employees and are consistently applied across the organization
Manage, mentor, and develop HR team members to ensure high performance and continued professional growth
Foster a collaborative, results-driven HR team environment, promoting accountability, skill development, and career advancement
Oversee the recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring the attraction of top talent
Provide guidance to hiring managers on best practices in interviewing, selection, and retention strategies
Collaborate with leadership to identify staffing needs and create talent pipelines
Provide regular HR reporting to senior leadership, offering insights on key metrics such as turnover, engagement, and compliance
Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions that drive improvements in HR processes and employee satisfaction

Required

3-5 years of managerial experience in HR, with a proven record of success in strategic HR management and leading teams
Extensive experience in HR operations, compliance, employee relations, and policy development
Experience managing HR processes from start to finish, including recruitment, performance management, and organizational development
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
Demonstrated ability to think strategically while also being hands-on in day-to-day HR operations
Proven experience in developing and implementing HR policies, programs, and practices
Ability to manage and develop HR teams and work collaboratively across departments
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives

Preferred

SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or similar HR certification preferred
Additional certifications in HR-related areas (e.g., compensation, employee development) a plus
