Responsibilities

Lead and manage internal projects focused on process optimization, cost reduction, and operational improvements
Define project scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables in collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity
Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure on-time delivery of milestones
Partner closely with internal departments, including Manufacturing, Sales, IT, and Controls, to execute initiatives
Use lean manufacturing principles to drive improvements in quality, output, and productivity
Identify and escalate project risks, resource constraints, or changes in scope
Track and report on project status, resource allocation, and timelines to leadership
Contribute to building a continuous improvement culture throughout the plant
Support documentation and standardization of processes post-implementation
Ensure internal project hand-offs are smooth and support long-term adoption

Required

Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered
Minimum 5 years of project management or process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in injection molding or plastics
Demonstrated knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; MS Project or similar project management tools is a plus
Must be willing to travel occasionally based on business needs

Preferred

PMP or Six Sigma certification is a plus
Experience leading cross-functional teams in a technical manufacturing setting
Working knowledge of automation or control systems is a bonus
