Responsibilities
Conduct operational due diligence reviews on investment managers, including hedge funds, private equity funds, and other alternative investment vehicles
Evaluate the operational risks associated with investment managers, including trading, investment processes, valuation, compliance, and business continuity planning
Conduct onsite visits to investment managers, including interviews with key personnel, review of key documents, and observation of operational processes
Analyze findings and prepare detailed reports, including recommendations for improvements and potential risks
Communicate findings to senior management and provide ongoing monitoring of investment managers
Collaborate with other teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in operational due diligence within the investment services industry
Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to evaluate complex investment strategies and processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate findings and recommendations
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential risks
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to operational due diligence
Willingness to travel as needed to conduct onsite visits to investment managers
