Responsibilities
Create original, high-quality digital content, including graphics, short-form video, and copy for FDP’s social media platforms
Design graphics and edit video using tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe, or similar platforms
Appear comfortably on camera for reels, TikToks, livestreams, and rapid-response content as needed
Monitor breaking news, political developments, and digital trends to inform timely content creation
Draft short-form captions, scripts, and talking points aligned with FDP messaging
Help amplify content from the Party Chair, candidates, elected officials, and coalition partners
Qualification
Required
Committed to Democratic politics and progressive values
0–2 years of experience in digital content creation, social media, or communications (internships, fellowships, and campaign experience count)
Strong skills in creating graphics and video for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, and YouTube
Proficiency in Canva required; experience with CapCut or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
Comfortable being on camera and creating authentic, personality-driven content
Ability to work flexible hours, especially during peak moments of the election cycle
Strong writing skills and an understanding of tone, message discipline, and audience targeting
