KYC Operations Analyst

Responsibilities
Take ownership of comprehensive KYC due diligence process for new and existing client relationships, serving as the expert guardian ensuring all clients successful navigate regulatory requirements before relationship approval
Analyse client data, documentation, and negative news to determine accurate risk profiles, positioning yourself as Nomura’s trusted KYC specialist who ensures flawless compliance with firm procedures
Proactively resolve complex KYC challenges by leveraging your analytical expertise and regulatory knowledge, coordinating with global teams while escalating appropriately to deliver seamless compliance outcomes
Serve as a central KYC facilitator, seamlessly coordination with Client Onboarding, Compliance, Business and Global Reference Data teams to deliver streamlined regulatory experiences
Maintain continuous expert communication with global and local counterparts, ensuring transparency and sustained regulatory momentum that reflects our commitment to compliance excellence
Dive into an exciting world where you’ll master KYC platforms, skilfully navigate complex AML/KYC requirements (Patriot Act, Section 312, MiFiD), and build valuable expertise across diverse regulatory landscapes while participating in rolling reviews and special projects to drive meaningful in compliance excellence
Qualification
Required
2-5 years KYC/AML experience with proven expertise in regulatory compliance
Deep knowledge of the US AML/KYC regulations with ability to navigate complex compliance requirements
Proven track record of managing high-volume KYC requests in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you thrive under pressure
Natural talent for analytical precision with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Team player with exceptional ability to build consensus across global teams
Organized and ability to problem-solve complex regulatory challenges quickly and efficiently
Ability to manage multiple KYC cases simultaneous while being flexible and dynamic in execution
Knowledge of Microsoft Suite, SharePoint and Power Bi
Preferred
Series 99 certification
Knowledge of UK/EMEA regulations
ACAMS certification
