Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of Workers’ Compensation strategies, providing clear, actionable recommendations for internal and client stakeholders
Direct the development and submission of rate, rule, and form filings while coordinating with actuarial and regulatory teams
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior-level clients, participating in meetings and presenting complex findings to support their long-term goals
Maintain expert-level knowledge of Workers’ Compensation trends, legislative changes, and industry best practices to drive innovation
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and collaborate across cross-functional teams, including analysts and project managers

Required

Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Workers' Compensation, including Large Deductible and Dividend Plans
In-depth knowledge of NCCI and Independent Bureau Loss Cost and Regulatory Changes
Proven ability to mentor junior consultants and manage cross-functional project teams
Advanced proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Access, SQL)
Skill in managing high-stakes discussions with carriers, regulators, and legal counsel
Demonstrated ability to learn and master new software and system platforms quickly
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong organizational and time management skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with both internal and client stakeholders

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree preferred
Familiarity with Statistical Reporting and Financial Data Calls is a plus
Experience with the following is preferred: SERFF, Wrike software project management tool, APCIA, Wolters Kluwer, and IRMI
