Responsibilities
Lead system-level architecture and application strategy across solar cell, module, panel, array, and spacecraft power systems
Conduct electrical, thermal, and mechanical simulations and trade studies
Define and lead limited-scope prototyping to validate integration concepts and reduce customer adoption risk
Serve as the primary technical interface with customers and external partners
Translate customer requirements into actionable design, reliability, and qualification targets for internal R&D teams
Define customer-focused reliability, qualification, and data strategies
Provide advisory guidance on space-grade quality, reliability, and documentation expectations
Support team development and system-level decision-making processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field strongly preferred; system-level spacecraft power experience is essential
8 years of experience in space solar systems, spacecraft power systems, or high-reliability aerospace hardware
Strong system-level understanding of spacecraft power architectures and environmental effects
Proven ability to lead technical discussions with customers and partners
Excellent cross-functional communication skills
Eligible to work under U.S. export control regulations
Preferred
Experience defining system or application architectures
Background as a Technical Lead, Principal Engineer, or Systems Engineer
Experience with flight hardware, demonstration missions, or qualification campaigns
Familiarity with electrical, thermal, or radiation modeling tools
