Responsibilities
Execute day-to-day mass properties program plans and maintain the master weight database
Generate comprehensive reports on Weight, Center of Gravity (CG), and Moments of Inertia
Interface with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to collect and validate structural and system mass data
Coordinate and participate in physical aircraft weighing operations and structural audits
Prepare technical documentation required for FAA weight and balance certification
Qualification
Required
BS in Engineering (Aerospace/Mechanical preferred) or equivalent technical experience
3+ years of experience in mass properties or aircraft systems
Strong understanding of Newtonian physics as applied to dynamic flight systems
Capable of performing physical inspections and hands-on technical data collection
