Vice President, Influencer + Social

The Vice President, Influencer + Social will lead influencer and social strategy for high-profile consumer brand clients, overseeing execution and driving digital transformation initiatives while mentoring a team of digital experts.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive influencer strategies that align with clients’ overall goals and objectives
Lead development of innovative, results-oriented influencer programs that compel consumers to action and drive business results
Stay current with the latest developments in influencer campaigns; proactively integrating and advocating new technologies and opportunities
Prepare and present influencer strategies and briefs to internal teams and clients
Demonstrate strong analytical skills and utilize analytic tools to effectively track and measure success of activations, as well as inform strategic optimization recommendations in real time
Lead and mentor a team of digital professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence; establish and evolve best practices across influencer campaigns and teams; support digital skill building of teams; leverage successes to grow agency work
Agile and collaborative working style - demonstrated ability to work against tight timelines as part of a cross-discipline agency and client teams

Required

8-10 years previous experience and a B.A. in Public Relations, Communications or a related discipline
Digital native with understanding of influencer from owned, earned and paid perspectives
In-depth knowledge of related social trends and industry sector events and experience working with celebrities, social influencers and brand ambassadors
Proven experience in leading teams to execute client programs with a blend of strong time management, leadership, team building, mentoring and client relation skills
Proven experience in the Consumer Brands space
Proven experience working in tandem with other creative agencies to develop comprehensive campaigns
Excellent verbal and written communications skills as well as an ability to develop and present compelling client proposals
