Responsibilities

Create and facilitate Change Requests and Change Notices in Windchill
Review hardware Non-Conformances for acceptability for structural, thermal, and tolerances
Design Electronic Enclosures for ruggedized environment from concept to production

Required

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
Proficiency in CREO design of parts and assemblies, drafting and drawings
5+ years of experience designing with CREO and Windchill
Experience with CreoView
Experience with GD&T implementation and analysis (ASME Y14.5)
Experience with complex tolerance stack up analysis
Experience with MCAD/ECAD import and export
Experience with designing parts for a machining, investment casting, and sheet metal manufacturing environment
Experience with FEA tools (ANSYS preferred) with strong structural and thermal hand calculation skills
Strong DFx (design for manufacturing) understanding with the ability to incorporate feedback from various groups and vendors
Ability to be self-directed and balance several tasks at one time
Ability to communicate analysis results effectively
Excellent attention to detail and strong task ownership, someone who demonstrates pride in all work

Preferred

Extensive experience with designing aerospace avionics
Experience with Creo Illustrate
Experience with static structural, modal, random vibration, and thermal analysis (level commensurate on experience)
Experience designing ruggedized electronics enclosures or similar high-performance hardware
Familiarity using ANSYS and IcePak
