Responsibilities

Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, network devices, and infrastructure components

Implement and manage advanced security measures, including firewalls and access controls

Monitor system performance, optimize configurations, and ensure efficient operation

Oversee Windows and Linux systems, including upgrades and installations

Develop and maintain documentation for IT infrastructure and troubleshooting procedures

Participate in disaster recovery planning and on-call rotation

Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of systems

Required

Strong experience with Microsoft technologies: Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Azure, Office365, Active Directory

Networking skills: routers, switches, firewalls, VLANs, wireless networks

Cloud experience (Azure preferred; AWS considered), including Terraform, Function Apps, Key Vault

Familiarity with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python)

Knowledge of DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Ansible) and database management (MSSQL)

Adaptability and willingness to learn

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Preferred

Experienced in building cloud automation from scratch

Comfortable working in hybrid environments and contributing to cloud networking strategies

Holds relevant certifications (Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator) or equivalent experience
