Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage Red Hat OpenShift (4.x) clusters across development, test, and production environments
Implement and support OpenShift Dev Spaces (Eclipse Che) for container-based developer workspaces
Configure namespaces, RBAC, quotas, and network policies to support multi-tenant platforms
Create and maintain standardized Devfile-based developer environments
Integrate OpenShift with source control systems (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket)
Support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Tekton, or GitLab CI
Improve developer productivity through automation and self-service tooling
Automate platform and application deployments using:
GitOps tools (Argo CD)
Helm charts and Operators
Ansible where applicable
Maintain infrastructure and configuration as code (YAML, Git)
Implement OpenShift security best practices:
Role-based access control (RBAC)
Secure image registries and image scanning
Secrets and certificate management
Align platform configurations with enterprise security and compliance requirements
Monitor platform health and performance
Troubleshoot cluster, application, and workspace issues
Perform upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management
Document architecture, standards, and operational procedures
Work directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide platform guidance
Support developer onboarding, workshops, and knowledge transfer sessions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align platform capabilities with business needs
Qualification
Required
Strong experience with Red Hat OpenShift (4.x) or Kubernetes-based platforms
Hands-on experience with containers (Docker / Podman)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Proficiency with Linux (RHEL preferred)
Experience using Git, YAML, and infrastructure as code
