Responsibilities
Lead body weld process development for new model launches
Support process planning, layout development, capacity analysis, and investment justification
Collaborate with design, manufacturing, suppliers, and equipment vendors
Oversee equipment specification, installation, trials, and handover to production
Ensure weld quality, dimensional accuracy, and process compliance
Support continuous improvement (Kaizen) of ongoing operations
Travel up to 30% as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
1–5 years of engineering or manufacturing experience
Proficiency in 3D CAD and Microsoft Office
Willingness to work overtime, travel, and support multiple shifts
Ability to work onsite in Georgetown, KY
Preferred
Automotive manufacturing or pre-production experience
Automation, PLC familiarity, and equipment installation experience
CATIA/DELMIA experience
Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
