CASINO COMPLIANCE SUPERVISOR Sports Wagering Compliance Supervisor
The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency (MLGCA) serves as one of the largest revenue sources for the State of Maryland. They are seeking a Casino Compliance Supervisor responsible for overseeing compliance at gaming facilities, ensuring adherence to regulations, and conducting investigations as necessary.

Responsibilities
Review, edit, and approve compliance reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to all department requirements
Develop and maintain monthly work schedules for compliance representatives, ensuring efficient coverage and adherence to regulatory requirements
Track and proactively request necessary supplies to maintain smooth operations within the compliance department
Act as a liaison between compliance representatives and other departments within the agency
Meet with compliance representatives during daily site visits to provide personalized feedback, deliver targeted training, and answer any operational or compliance-related questions
Approve leave requests from compliance representatives while ensuring adequate staffing levels are maintained to fulfill department responsibilities
Review and approve bi-weekly time submissions from compliance representatives for accuracy and adherence to agency policies
Address any issues or concerns that arise between compliance representatives and facility personnel, fostering effective communication and collaboration
Observe job performance of Compliance Representatives and prepare performance evaluations (P.E.P.) for each employee
Implement appropriate disciplinary actions, if necessary, to address identified deficiencies and ensure employees adhere to performance standards and regulatory protocols
Qualification
Required
Four years of experience in administrative staff or professional staff work
Candidates may substitute the completion of 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university and three years of experience in administrative staff or professional staff work for the required experience
Candidates may substitute the possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university for the required experience
Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer involving staff work requiring regular use of independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting rules and regulations in accordance with agency laws and policies on a year-for-year basis for the required experience
Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland
Preferred
At least one year of experience conducting regulatory compliance work
At least one year of experience involving duties associated with gaming
At least one year of experience in a supervisory role
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to manage and adapt to varying driving conditions and schedules
At least one year of investigative experience
