Responsibilities

Assist in the implementation and maintenance of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to EHS regulations

Support the development and execution of EHS initiatives and training programs

Assist in investigating incidents and near-misses, recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence

Maintain and update EHS documentation, records, and reports in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility

Provide support in preparing and submitting regulatory reports and documentation

Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in EHS

Participate in emergency response planning and drills

Perform other duties as assigned to support the EHS department and its objectives

Required

Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree)

Typically entry-level 0 - 2 years of experience

Experience in a manufacturing environment with awareness of EHS requirements

Knowledge of applicable regulatory standards (i.e., OSHA, EPA, DOT, etc.)

Preferred

Proficiency in using EHS management software and tools

Basic understanding of industrial hygiene principles and practices

Experience with hazard identification and risk assessment methodologies

Familiarity with safety data sheets (SDS) and chemical management

Knowledge of incident investigation techniques and root cause analysis

Ability to develop and deliver EHS training programs

Experience with environmental compliance reporting and documentation

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and EHS-specific software

Certification in First Aid, CPR, or other relevant EHS certifications
