The Algorithm Engineering Intern will work with the AI and Modeling Center of excellence, focusing on traditional and deep learning algorithms to enhance KLA products and improve computational efficiency.

Responsibilities
Work with traditional and deep learning algorithm techniques to meet and improve results on KLA products
Experiment with new and novel techniques to improve results or reduce compute cost of various modeling techniques
Build tools for more efficient experimentation
Manage data used for training and experimentation of AI and physics modeling systems
Developing software tools and solutions for KLA products
Qualification
Required
Students working towards a PhD degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field
Must have research projects or hands-on experience demonstrating use of Deep Learning OR Machine Learning OR Image Processing OR Computer Vision technologies
Demonstrated expertise in image processing and imaging optics
Strong background in physics, particularly as it applies to imaging systems
Hands-on experience with high-performance computing (HPC) environments
Proficiency in CUDA programming
