Responsibilities
Design and analyze new and existing bridge structures
Work on bridge construction, widening, and rehabilitation projects
Prepare and review engineering drawings, calculations, and reports
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
Ensure designs comply with State DOT standards
Participate in field inspections and condition assessments
Manage schedules and budgets (for senior-level roles)
Mentor junior engineers (for experienced candidates)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Any level of experience in bridge engineering
Familiarity with State DOT bridge standards
Experience with bridge design tools (LARSA, LEAP Bridge, Merlin-Dash, etc.)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
PE License
Preferred
Master's degree in Civil Engineering
Knowledge of MicroStation / OpenBridge
