Responsibilities

Perform electrical testing of all Shipboard, Steam and Electric Plant, Auxiliary and Weapons systems

Complete Test Director review of Test Form data daily and logging calibrated test equipment

Exhibit high moral character and integrity required to certify NAVSEA test requirements

Exhibit the ability to read and understand various system and test diagrams/drawings required for all electrical system testing

Work onboard submarines under construction during all phases of construction in all types of weather

Work requires heavy lifting, pulling and climbing (ladders) and enter in tight/confined spaces for extended periods of time

Perform various electrical testing tasks using various meters to perform continuity checks of installed cables and equipment

Perform alignments of ship systems electronic systems

Assist in trouble shooting when required

Individual must understand and comply with Division Safety Manual and technical manual operating instructions

Be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
