Responsibilities
Assist in the design and development of electrical systems, circuits, and components for new and existing products
Support prototype builds, testing, and validation of electrical designs
Create and maintain schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
Perform basic calculations and simulations to support design decisions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, manufacturing, and quality engineers
Participate in design reviews, failure analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues during development and production
Follow safety protocols and quality standards in all projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
0-3 years of relevant experience
Basic understanding of circuit theory, electronics, and electrical design principles
Ability to read and interpret schematics, datasheets, and technical specifications
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment
Eagerness to learn and grow professionally through mentorship and hands-on experience
Preferred
Internship or co-op experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
Exposure to embedded systems, PCB layout, or electrical testing
Familiarity with circuit board design software (e.g., OrCAD/Allegro) and simulation software
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools / project management (e.g., Azure DevOps)
Familiarity with low-power design
Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, Joulescope, and power meters
Experience in all aspects of the product lifecycle
