Responsibilities

SCADA/MES Development: Design and implement advanced SCADA/MES solutions to improve visibility, throughput, and efficiency across the Vocational segment’s manufacturing network
Industry 4.0 Enablement: Collaborate with plant and enterprise teams to integrate IoT, AI, and analytics into manufacturing operations
Plant Performance Optimization: Deliver real‑time data solutions that enhance operational quality and throughput for new and existing facilities
Enterprise Collaboration: Define requirements and architectures that align with ISA‑95 and support scalable, secure system deployments
Operational Insights: Build dashboards and reporting tools that provide leadership and production teams with real‑time operational intelligence
Systems Integration: Implement and maintain communication protocols (MQTT, OPC‑UA, REST API) to ensure seamless OT‑IT interoperability
Security & Reliability: Apply best practices in network configuration, data integrity, and cybersecurity for mission‑critical systems
Technical Leadership: Mentor teams on SCADA/MES tools, integration strategies, and emerging Industry 4.0 technologies

Required

4+ years of SCADA/MES development, integration, or support experience in manufacturing
Proficiency with platforms such as Ignition, Aveva/Wonderware, or Rockwell FactoryTalk
Experience with DataOps platforms (e.g., HighByte Intelligence Hub) supporting OT‑IT data flow
Strong Python and SQL skills for automation, data processing, and analytics integration
Knowledge of database administration, including backups and performance tuning
Familiarity with networking fundamentals (VLANs, subnets, firewalls, routing) in OT environments
Expertise in communication protocols such as MQTT, OPC‑UA, and REST APIs
Experience designing solutions aligned with ISA‑95 and Industry 4.0 frameworks
Exposure to AI/ML use cases in manufacturing (e.g., predictive analytics, anomaly detection, computer vision)
Experience with containerization (Docker, Podman) for scalable system deployment
Understanding of cybersecurity and system optimization in OT/IT environments
Experience leading large‑scale MES or SCADA deployments—preferably Ignition—across multiple sites
