cFocus Software seeks a Database Analyst to join our program supporting the Department of Defense (DoD). The role involves analyzing, validating, and maintaining data to ensure accuracy and consistency, as well as supporting data ingestion, validation, and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

Analyze, validate, and maintain DSAID data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness
Identify, research, and resolve data quality issues in coordination with database and application teams
Support data ingestion, validation, transformation, and reporting processes
Develop and execute ad hoc and recurring data queries and reports in support of stakeholders and congressional reporting
Support Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes between DSAID components and external systems
Perform data impact analysis for system changes, enhancements, and modernization efforts
Support interface data exchanges and transaction analysis reporting
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, DBAs, and BI teams to support requirements and reporting needs
Document data definitions, data flows, and business rules
Support compliance with data governance, privacy, and records management requirements
Assist with troubleshooting data-related issues for Tier 2 and Tier 3 help desk requests
Participate in Agile ceremonies and support sprint planning activities
Support transition-in, transition-out, and knowledge transfer activities

Required

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field
3+ years of experience performing database analysis or data management for enterprise systems
Experience writing SQL queries and analyzing relational databases
Experience supporting data quality analysis, validation, and reporting
Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration concepts
Understanding of data governance, data standards, and data lifecycle management
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD CAC and required background investigation
This position requires the ability a Public Trust clearance
