Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain highly performant API-driven web applications on our stack (Java, SpringBoot, APIs, AWS Aurora, Lambda jobs)
Work with our product managers to properly prioritize our new feature development, feature iteration and ongoing maintenance and support
Interact with engineering members across the organization to ensure consistency in engineering practices and foster active exchange of ideas
Ability to collaborate and operate in a global organization where team members may be located in different regions and time zones
Active participating in agile ceremonies to allow us to prioritize the right work and improve velocity (e.g. daily standup, release and sprint planning, demos, scrum of scrums)
Qualification
Required
Experience as software engineer on React and Java Spring Boot technologies
Experience with developing APIs
Experience working on AWS DBs and Lambda jobs
Experience working in an Agile team and environment
Experience working with software engineering support tools such as Bitbucket Cloud, JIRA and Git
A passion for technology and building common software solutions that enables our team to release faster
Self-motivated
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
Preferred
Knowledge of the Financial Services industry a plus
