Responsibilities

You will develop, maintain, and troubleshoot software components using C/C++ and Python to support globally deployed service platforms
You will support system refresh initiatives, including software re-imaging, patching, configuration updates, and hardware/software lifecycle upgrades
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Field Service) to ensure system stability, consistency, and performance during upgrades and deployments
You will automate routine maintenance and service tasks using Python and Bash scripting to improve efficiency and reliability
You will analyze logs, debug issues, and resolve incidents impacting global customers and service teams
You will contribute to front-end development, automated testing, and database-related work, expanding your technical breadth
You will create and maintain technical documentation to support deployment, troubleshooting, and operational teams
You will participate in code reviews, testing, and CI processes, supporting continuous improvement and software quality

Required

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years prior relevant experience
Proficiency in C/C++ and Python
Solid understanding of Linux operating systems, shell scripting, and basic system administration
Familiarity with version control tools such as Git
Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
Effective communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred

Experience with system provisioning or configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet)
Understanding of networking fundamentals and hardware/software interfaces
Exposure to global service platforms or international teams
Knowledge of database architecture and maintenance
