Senior Project Manager – Public Sector Consulting
WiredPeople, Inc. is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Senior Project Manager to lead high-stakes management consulting initiatives for government clients nationwide. The role involves owning the delivery of complex public sector engagements, managing project scope, schedule, and budget while ensuring strong client partnerships and quality delivery.

Responsibilities
Lead Diverse Teams: Direct and motivate cross-functional project teams, setting clear expectations, holding members accountable, and providing actionable performance feedback
Precision Governance: Manage scope, schedule, and budget with rigor. You will proactively manage scope creep, ensuring only agreed-upon deliverables are executed unless formal changes are approved
Risk Management: Anticipate issues before they become roadblocks. You will identify, track, and mitigate risks, providing immediate resolutions or escalating effectively when required
PMO Excellence: Develop and maintain critical PMO deliverables, including project charters, risk management plans, and change management strategies
Trusted Advisor: Cultivate strong relationships with client management and project teams. You will facilitate regular client meetings and obtain formal agreement on scope, deliverables, and schedules
Transparent Reporting: Define and collect meaningful metrics to track progress. You will report weekly status to both the client and Senior Management, ensuring no surprises
Business Growth: Partner with Account Executives during the sales process by providing technical expertise, helping clients identify needs, and proposing solutions that drive value
Value-Driven Delivery: Ensure all services provided are of high value to the client and adhere strictly to Management Consulting methodology
Diagnostic Problem Solving: Apply technical problem-solving aptitude to diagnose issues and ensure project completeness and quality
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Quality, Accounting, Business Management, or a related field
Active PMP Certification is required
Proven experience managing Management Consulting projects or delivering management consulting services
Must be comfortable working in the Eastern Time Zone
Preferred
High degree of professional work practices and the ability to motivate others
Sound decision-making abilities under pressure
