MSP Chief Operating Officer
Heritage Holding is a high-growth national Managed Services Provider and Cybersecurity provider aiming to scale from $60M to $100M in revenue. They are seeking a Chief Operating Officer to operationalize their growth, streamline service delivery, and integrate M&A targets.

Responsibilities
Operational Maturity: Audit, refine, and implement scalable processes across all departments. Transition the organization from ad-hoc startup agility to mature, data-driven operational frameworks (e.g., EOS, ITIL) suitable for a $100M+ enterprise
Service Delivery Optimization: Oversee the delivery of services across MSP, Data, and Cybersecurity divisions. Ensure distinct operational models (recurring managed services vs. project-based DFIR/Consulting) are optimized for gross margin and utilization
Leadership Development: Mentor, coach, and develop the next level of operational and service delivery leaders across all business units
KPI Management: Define and manage company-wide KPIs, including Utilization, SLA adherence, Gross Margins, EBITDA, and Customer Satisfaction (CSAT/NPS)
Integration Architect: Lead the post-merger integration (PMI) process for acquired entities. This includes harmonizing tool stacks (PSA/RMM), merging cultures, unifying HR policies, and realizing synergy targets
Due Diligence: Assist the executive team during the diligence phase to assess the operational health and compatibility of potential targets
Executive Partnership: Serve as the CEO’s right hand, translating high-level strategic goals into actionable quarterly and annual operating plans
Cross-Functional Alignment: Break down silos between Sales, Engineering, Finance, and HR to ensure the entire "quote-to-cash" lifecycle is seamless
Resource Management: optimize workforce planning, balancing full-time employees and contractors to meet fluctuating demand, particularly within the high-stakes DFIR and Data divisions
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 10+ years in leadership roles within the Technology/SaaS/MSP sector
Prior experience in an MSP environment is strictly required
Proven track record of guiding an organization through the $50M to $100M+ growth lifecycle
Demonstrated experience integrating acquired companies, specifically merging distinct operational teams and technical stacks
Familiarity with the operational differences between recurring revenue models (MSP) and high-urgency professional services (Incident Response/Cybersecurity)
Strong understanding of P&L management, EBITDA drivers, and service margin analysis
High emotional intelligence with the ability to lead diverse teams—from Level 1 technicians to high-level GRC consultants
