Responsibilities
Data Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and warehousing solutions
Key tasks will include API integration, ETL development, data modeling (Star Schema or Snowflake Schema), and supporting Power BI reporting
Will primarily work on the OIL Analytics Report Migration project initially, then transition to the Tamarac Data Warehouse project
Collaborate with internal project teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and structured organization for business intelligence
Qualification
Required
Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and warehousing solutions
Proficiency in API integration and ETL development
Knowledge of data modeling techniques, specifically Star Schema or Snowflake Schema
Experience supporting Power BI reporting
Familiarity with Azure Synapse Analytics
Experience with Azure Data Lake for structured and unstructured data
Knowledge of Azure Key Vault for managing secrets and encryption keys
Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with Apache Spark Notebooks for data exploration and analytics
Experience with Azure Integration Runtime for data movement and transformations
Knowledge of Metastore Data Warehouse for maintaining schema definitions and metadata
Experience with ARM Template for infrastructure deployment
