They are seeking a motivated Shipping Material Handler to perform various tasks including inventory management, order staging, and ensuring safety compliance during shipping operations.

Responsibilities
Performing routine post and pre-inspections to ensure suitable working nature of forklift
Accurately record and put inventory away
Stage Orders before shipping
Pull Orders when ready to ship
Inspect trucks before loading to ensure safety compliance
Verify trucks are loaded with the correct product
Complete necessary paperwork
Maintain clean working area
Follow all policies and procedures
Responsible for the product transportation between the plant and shipping warehouse
Wrapping and inspecting finished goods
Able to follow instructions as directed by the Supervisor
Other duties, as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent GED required
Knowledge of shipping and receiving
Work a flexible schedule (possibly nights, weekends, and holidays) when needed
Ability to perform well in a customer-driven, safety-conscious organization
Ability to understand and work well with team members, both in operations & support teams
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to drive a forklift and multitask
Ability to learn ERP systems and willingness to learn the computer side of the job
Being able to sit and stand throughout the day
Ability to lift over 50 pounds
Keen sense of urgency and time management skills
Preferred
CDL is preferred but not required
