Enterprise Architecture Modeler
Maximus is a technology and consulting services company that is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architecture Modeler to support their National Security client in Bethesda, MD. The role involves documenting and shaping the client's IT enterprise architecture to ensure alignment with their vision for interoperability across organizations.

Responsibilities
Create and maintain a model-based IT enterprise architecture
Work closely with IT Enterprise Architects to determine model views and gather needed data
Work with partners that are not familiar with modeling and help them translate their IT architecture into a model
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including content providers, content consumers, developers, engineers, and business analysts
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
B.S. degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (M.S. preferred); and 12-15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10-13 years of prior relevant experience
May possess a Doctorate in technical domain. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Proficient in Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and Model-Based Systems Engineering, with proven experience translating concepts into SysML or UML
Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., UAF, TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF)
Excellent communication skills for technical writing, oral briefings, and executive-level products
Ability to consider IT architecture issues from many different perspectives
Passion for staying up to date with industry trends and advancements
Preferred
Five or more years of experience working with or in the Intelligence Community (IC)
SysML Model Builder Intermediate or SysML Model Builder Advanced certification
Experience analyzing compliance with an IT Enterprise Architecture
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering tools (e.g., MagicDraw, Rational Rhapsody, Cameo, Genesys, etc.)
