Responsibilities

Plan, create and execute test cases for Section 508 Compliance testing
Record problems/defects identified during testing and retest problems after they are resolved by the development team
Regularly update technical and business teams as to plans, progress, and issues
Verify compliance with 508 accessibility standards Identify and suggest potential solutions for accessibility barriers based on the WCAG 2.0 and WCAG 2.1 standards as well as compliance with the Section 508 and other accessibility

Required

3 to 5 years of experience in Section 508 Compliance testing
Must have working knowledge of and experience with standard 508 testing tools (i.e. JAWS, Web Accessibility Tool Bar, Inspect. Etc.) JAWS preferred
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment to meet aggressive goals and pre-defined measurement criteria
Knowledge of Defect Management processes. Must have prior experience in Manual/Functional Testing
Strong knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle, Agile, mobile, and web development
US Citizenship or permanent resident and ability to obtain public trust clearance
