Randstad Digital Americas is seeking an entrepreneurial AI Engineer to join a high-performing team dedicated to solving commercially impactful problems through technical excellence. In this role, you will own the entire lifecycle of AI products, from framing business challenges to optimizing low-level inference stacks.

Responsibilities

Take full accountability for technical products, from initial business problem framing to final production deployment

Design and deliver industry-leading ML models and systems that meet rigorous operational standards and challenging SLAs

Actively challenge current processes and stay at the forefront of AI trends to ensure our technology remains market-leading

Engage directly with business functions to translate complex commercial needs into elegant AI solutions

Balance deep technical development (80%) with direct user support and feedback loops (20%) to ensure products meet real-world needs

Required

Bachelors

Direct experience deploying LLMs in production

Expert in prompt design, agentic workflows, evaluation harnesses, and RAG/retrieval pipelines

Deep understanding of the LLM stack, including KV Caching, Speculative Decoding, Parallel Decoding, and emerging test-time compute strategies

Expert-level Python skills are required

Proficiency in at least one lower-level or enterprise language (C++, Java, or .NET) is highly preferred

Proven experience with SQL databases and cloud architecture (Azure or AWS)

A 'first-principles' understanding of machine learning fundamentals paired with the practical 'scars' of building real-world systems
