Business Development Executive- Leaders Club (US Market)

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving new membership sales for Leaders Club in the U.S. market, focusing on building relationships and understanding development needs of sports business professionals.

Responsibilities

Prospect, pitch, and close new Leaders Club memberships across U.S. sports organizations, agencies, brands, and individuals
Build an ongoing pipeline of active prospects by utilizing database resources, competitive lists and other online resources
Maintain an organized database of prospects, sales, and sales activities
Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract execution
Work closely with Marketing, Events, Audience Development and Product teams to align sales strategies with product offerings
Provide feedback on market trends and member needs to inform product development
Meet and exceed monthly and annual revenue targets
Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and report on pipeline progress
Proactively keep on top of the latest trends in the sports industry
Lean into all available sales and skills training opportunities provided

Required

Proven track record (2+ years) of success in B2B lead generation and sales, preferably in sports, media, or professional services
Strong understanding of networking and leadership development within the sports industry

Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities (prospecting, cold calling, deal cycle management, closing business) in a fast-paced environment
