Vice President, Third Party Application Engineering

They are seeking a Vice President, Third Party Application Engineering to manage third-party execution venues and ensure vendor accountability while driving process improvements and providing technical leadership to engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Application Management of 3rd party execution venues (Brokertec, FX Connect, Citi Velocity, JP Morgan Markets, DB Autobahn)
Capturing detailed data flows and documenting downstream consumption
Governing usage against license and sharing restrictions
Manage Product / Platform-specific tech vendor assessment and ensure vendor accountability
Escalate incidents or concerns to the SDG Lead for resolution as needed
Provide thought leadership and support for team of engineers and developers with issues and questions
Provide technical feedback to Product Owners, integrating input across all technical teams (incl. solutions architecture and design)
Collaborate with Engineering Lead to identify opportunities for process improvement where relevant through research and continuous improvement
Manage and track adherence to tech development KPIs, with regular aggregated reporting of progress across Hub

Required

3 plus years' experience in managing live market data systems (LSEG/Refinitiv/Bloomberg)
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
Vendor & Relationship Management experience and comprehension of Vendor Licensing and Usage agreements
Ability to communicate with technology, operations, architects, key stakeholders, and senior business partners
Strong execution skills and ability to navigate the organization to get things done
Hands-on technical skills to be able to swiftly identify real-time market data issues or data content problems

Preferred

advanced degree is preferred
6 plus years of experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
