Responsibilities

Take over as primary reservoir engineer on asset evaluation, underwriting, acquisition & divestiture, and asset management
Provide direction, support, and knowledge to proprietary internal platform (supporting Lead System Developer)
Work directly with 3rd party land company to support acquisition efforts
Manage relationships with O&G operators, maintaining communication, operational & production reporting, development timing, and CAPEX and JIB statements audits
Build and Maintain company reserve database for bank, tax, and fund requirements
Integrate and support Fund objectives and targets, by supporting CEO & CFO
Learn the business domain and help model complex oil & gas scenarios and develop risk analytics, fund budget forecasting, and asset level performance indicators including some math-heavy metrics

Required

Solid experience with any modern O&G risk analysis
Strong grasp of relational databases and data modeling
Comfortable with technical asset writing
Eager to take ownership of all investment & risk thesis
Able to self-direct and organize your work

Preferred

Familiarity with various state O&G regulatory requirements
Experience with O&G LP Funds
Prior exposure to Land, Leases, JOA's, and PSA's
Experience integrating Reservoir models with Geology, Petrophysics, Land, Legal, Accounting
Interest in math-heavy modeling (you don't need to write the math, just not be scared of it)
