CSR - Customer Service Representative Bodyshop/collision shop

Auto Body is seeking a dedicated and personable Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join their collision shop team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional support and ensuring a smooth experience throughout their interaction with the shop.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and professionally, either in person or over the phone
Assist clients with scheduling appointments and providing updates on vehicle repairs
Handle inbound and outbound calls with excellent phone etiquette
Manage customer data entry accurately using Microsoft Office and other computer systems
Provide detailed information about services, estimates, and repair processes
Support sales efforts by promoting additional services when appropriate
Process payments, including cash handling, accurately recording transactions
Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback
Collaborate with team members to coordinate workflow and ensure timely service delivery
Maintain organized records of customer interactions and service details

Required

Proven experience in customer support, call center, or client services roles preferred
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to handle diverse customer interactions professionally
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and general computer skills
Ability to perform data entry quickly and accurately (typing skills required)
Ability to handle cash transactions responsibly when necessary
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism

Preferred

Bilingual skills and previous call center or customer support experience are highly valued to effectively communicate with diverse clients and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Experience with outbound calling and analysis skills for follow-up or feedback collection preferred
