The Evolvers Group is seeking a Databricks Administrator who will be the hands-on technical owner of the organization’s Databricks platform. This role is responsible for platform operations, security, governance, reliability, and cost management to support analytics, BI, and AI/ML use cases across SDLC environments.

Responsibilities

Hands-on Databricks administration (workspaces, clusters, jobs, SQL warehouses, repos, runtimes)
Strong Unity Catalog administration experience
Proficiency in identity and access management, including SSO, SCIM provisioning, group-based RBAC, and service principals
AWS expertise, including IAM, S3 security patterns, KMS, networking basics, and logging/monitoring
Experience with automation and infrastructure as code using Terraform, CLI, and APIs
Solid understanding of lakehouse architecture, Delta Lake, and separation of storage and compute
Strong SQL skills with working knowledge of Python and/or Scala for troubleshooting
Experience supporting regulated environments (FedRAMP, HIPAA, SOC 2, or similar)
Familiarity with audit logging, evidence collection, data retention, and residency requirements

Required

AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional)
