Responsibilities

Define structural or project elements and processes to meet client needs

Participate in and coordinate preparation of bids

Promote and maintain client relationships

Lead projects and coordinate with project management to execute project plans

Directly supervise the teams' design and technical delivery

Promote and maintain client relationships through all project phases

Serve as a firm ambassador to win new work

Recommend new practices or changes in emphasis

Lead the development and application of company-wide standard operating procedures and technical requirements for projects and discipline deliverables

Manage a small team of direct reports

Qualification

Architecture degreeActive architecture licenseBuilding codes knowledgeProduction software proficiencyClient relationship managementCommunication skills

Required

Have a degree in architecture from an NAAB accredited program or equivalent experience

Have 15 years' relevant experience and be recognized as a thought leader. This includes prior experience leading the work of multiple disciplines

Possess an active license in good standing and demonstrate knowledge of state and local building codes, zoning laws, fire regulations, and other relevant ordinances

Be proficient in production software and construction document production

Have proven ability to make decisions that have significant impact to an organization, as well as recommend operational strategies and plans with direct impact on results

Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with senior leadership on matters of strategic importance

Have the ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, and other key stakeholders
