Responsibilities
Coordinate, plan, and organize project activities
Interface with end users, vendors, and project staff
Analyze and negotiate project scope, budget, and schedule
Manage vendor contracts
Assist with resource planning for projects
Proactively manage and track project risks, issues, budget, and schedule
Keep business sponsors and management informed of project status
Ensure compliance with applicable system design life cycle processes
Oversee vendor and project team deliverables to ensure contract compliance
Provide project status reports
Implement Federal and State regulation changes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of recent, relevant work experience
PMP certification
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Visio
Demonstrated ability to lead small to large project teams
Prior IT experience in the public health domain and managing IT projects
Experience managing scope, quality, escalations, and risks
Proven track record managing IT projects and collaborating with business and technical teams
Experience managing vendors and contracts for large-scale technology projects
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to lead meetings and communicate effectively at all levels
Self-motivated with strong decision-making skills
Preferred
Experience managing large-scale, enterprise-wide projects using Microsoft technologies
Process improvement experience
Experience with proposal or bid development
Experience in healthcare research, planning, or financial management
Experience with healthcare policy interpretation, development, and implementation
Research skills
Experience analyzing regulatory authority, legislative actions, and CMS guidelines
Experience working with USDA Food and Nutrition Service
Experience with Salesforce
Experience with the Candidate, Infants, and Children (WIC) program
