Responsibilities

Overseeing the daily activities of the Data Operations Unit
Establishing and maintaining unit goals and objectives
Establishing and maintaining performance metrics
Setting priorities and directing the work of full-time and temporary employees to ensure timely processing of documents
Assisting in the transition to a paperless environment
Establishing controls for data input
Investigating and correcting errors
Communicating daily with customers
Performing supervisory duties, e.g. time and attendance, leave approval, performance reviews, and disciplinary action, if necessary
Understanding the complexities of IBM DataCap imaging software, Siebel CRM, FileNet, SAP, and Power BI systems to oversee Data Operations testing and implementation of technology improvements
Creating and analyzing reports and spreadsheets
Developing procedures and training staff
Developing and improving quality improvement and technology processes for the units

Required

Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school
One year of experience equivalent to an experienced-level technician, paraprofessional, or professional; Office Supervisor 9 and 10, Secretary Supervisor 10, Emergency Dispatch Supervisor 10, or Human Resources Customer Service Supervisor 10
Work must be performed in the state of Michigan. If you currently reside outside of Michigan, you must relocate to Michigan to perform the duties of this position prior to being appointed to the position. Relocation expenses are not reimbursed
The Michigan Department of Treasury participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S
