Responsibilities
Serve as a key technical expert in designing, architecting, deploying, and maintaining cloud solutions, Data Management & Analytics
Display strong thought leadership in pursuit of modern data architecture principles and technology modernization
Drive continuous technology transformation to minimize technical debt and improve efficiency
Participate in defining target state technology architecture and roadmaps
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Minimum 7 years of experience in modern data engineering/data warehousing/data lakes technologies on cloud platforms, with a preference for Azure experience
Minimum 12 years of proven experience with SQL, schema design, and dimensional data modeling
Solid knowledge of data warehouse best practices, development standards, and methodologies
Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data warehousing technologies such as Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, and ADLS
Strong experience with big data tools and programming skills in PySpark and Spark SQL
Expertise in designing application solutions on Azure Data Platform for complex business needs
Strong knowledge of ETL patterns for data ingestion, processing, and distribution using pipelines on Azure cloud services
Experience with Client Fabric Data Platform
Independent self-learner with a proactive approach
Experience leading technology proof of concepts and providing architecture direction
