Responsibilities

Develop and deliver on multi-year strategy which drives evolution of rewards in North America
Manage the Annual Pay Review process (pay, bonus and shares) in North America ensuring both internal and external audit compliance
Provide counsel to Human Resources and the business on compensation-related issues including being the escalation point of contact for queries on reward policy and processes
Analyze annual benchmarking recommendations received from Global Reward to make recommendations on market review budgets and payscale movement taking to consideration any financial implications and competitiveness
Develop and implement North America Rewards communication framework. Lead Rewards training to HR and the business on compensation programs and policies
Monitor trends in North America compensation; leverage best practices to create best possible Reward solutions
Leverage technology to find ways to streamline administration and reporting
Monitor legislative activities and regulatory changes to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and international (Canada) laws
Advise on Domestic Relocation and Global Mobility; monitor policy compliance and North America budget
Manage special projects, including Recognition, as assigned in a broad range of areas, as business needs arise. Participate in global rewards design projects and provide feedback on practicality and application within North America
Manage job analysis, job evaluation, and market pricing according to global guidelines
Work as part of wider Global Reward team leading and supporting on Reward global and regional projects as well as wider Expertise and Innovation projects
Engage and connect with external reward networks within North America to stay relevant and abreast of changes

Required

Preferred bachelor's degree with 6 to 8 years compensation management experience at a FMCG company; MBA and CCP
Must have a strong understanding of all aspects of Rewards including base pay, short and long term incentives programs and executive compensation programs and regulations governing these plans
Proven experience with leading key projects in a prior Reward position
Experience of partnering up to a senior level
Strong analytic skills required. Significant Excel experience (pivot tables, vlookup at a minimum, VBA/macros a plus). Excellent systems background with a working knowledge of Workday, Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint and state of the art desktop applications including web based systems
Must be detail oriented, with excellent quantitative/analytical, data management, organizational, research and project management skills
Technical and analytical expertise including ability to apply logic, problem solve and deliver results on complex data analysis. Strong organization and interpersonal skills; the ability to interpret and report on data in a clear, concise way that reflects business acumen
Must have sound interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, and be able to deal effectively with all levels of management and employees
Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Deals with personal data and information in a highly professional manner and within the boundaries of relevant legislation, such as Data Protection
Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Demonstrate strong initiative and exercise good judgment and resourcefulness
Possess excellent time management skills, ability to juggle multiple tasks, agility to adapt to shifting/multiple priorities and deadlines, the maturity to handle sensitive information and manipulate large data sets while maintaining data integrity
